Bronzite cabochon cut from natural from Brazil 48,60 Carat

Today I present to you a very unusual stone at least for many of you I guess, It is the Bronzite, a silicate of iron and manganese and Brown definitely important having a weight lattice to castings. This in fact cut in stone cabochons and with dimensions of 27.5 mm x 26.6 mm x 7 mm weighs 48,60 Carat (i.e. almost 10 grams!). The surface is quite porous and Brown, It seems almost a piece of metal and according to me if embedded in a Silver frame could make a figurone hanging from the neck of a Onyx necklace, Hematite or other semi-precious stones.

Amethyst-coloured quartz from 8,10 Carat

For all lovers of the color purple here is a splendid specimen of unusual Amethyst, or perhaps it would be more appropriate to speak of two-tone quartz, Since this mineral are two shades of purple, a very intense and one just mentioned, almost colourless and transparent, typical of Quartz. This is not a real gem as it was not faceted, but it is nevertheless a wonderful esempalre of size and weight definitely interesting for those who are preparing to start a collection or are looking for an unusual mineral. Even all internal seems to appear ’ “the ’ tree of life”. This Amethyst (or two-coloured quartz) It was indeed cut oval slice, a simple cut that showcases the odd spread of color and nuances of this mineral.
