Bronzite cabochon cut from natural from Brazil 48,60 Carat

Today I present to you a very unusual stone at least for many of you I guess, It is the Bronzite, a silicate of iron and manganese and Brown definitely important having a weight lattice to castings. This in fact cut in stone cabochons and with dimensions of 27.5 mm x 26.6 mm x 7 mm weighs 48,60 Carat (i.e. almost 10 grams!). The surface is quite porous and Brown, It seems almost a piece of metal and according to me if embedded in a Silver frame could make a figurone hanging from the neck of a Onyx necklace, Hematite or other semi-precious stones.

Indicolite blue tourmaline cabochon cut from 3,90 Carat

After the With tourmaline chatoyancy that I showed you a few posts ago, Here is another beautiful example of tourmaline, This time with blue color shades nearly Green, variety of Tourmaline You should call Indicolite, because of its colour Indigo blue. The cut is a classic cabochons, that highlights the beautiful color of this mineral, Unfortunately a bit included, rather rare feature in a tourmaline which often occurs after cutting and polishing very transparent and free of inclusions. In short, a good sized tourmaline (are almost 4 Carat!) with some small inclusion that make it even more unique and rare.

Beryl green cabochon cut from 10.90 Carat

One-off Beryl the colour light green, very transparent with some beautiful natural inclusions which makes it even more unique and rare. The form is a cabochons rectangular with the corners which makes it perfect to be Nestled in a beautiful pendant or in a ring exclusive. The size of this Beryl Crystal are definitely interesting, We are about two and a half centimeters in length and almost an inch wide. Truly an interesting specimen!

Rare cabochon cut from Andalusite 5,20 Carat

I propose another splendid example of Andalusite, a mineral not too known but very charming for its tricroismo, i.e. the ability to assume different colorations depending on where you look. This specimen of a dark green colour, emanates flashes of color red/orange really interesting and typical of gems well most noble. This specimen shows a cutting cabochons who betrays all the beauty. The weight is well 5,20 carats and origin is still the legendary Brazil, vera rich forge deposits of gems and wonderful minerals. As in the previous post where I submitted a Andalusite Teardrop, I must point out that the images do not make justice to this gemma wonderful, I hope soon to be able to post a more detailed video.
