Finally I find a little time to update this blog, presenting a new gem to my collection, still there had talked. It is not very popular in jewelry, some collector instead will already have heard of’Apatite, whose name derives from the Greek and means “misleading”.
Rutilated quartz octagonal cutter from 3,91 Carat

Beautiful specimen of rutilated quartz rectangular octagonal-cut, typical of emeralds It highlights the unusual inclusions of rutile, in this specimen in the form of small black needles. A gemma very alternative, very included but only in the arrangement of the needles of rutile which determine the Unique and very personal DNA for this gemma suitable for embedding or ’ to make a fine show if a showcase of some collector.
Natural Emerald cut Ametrine bicolor from 3,15 Carat

Another beautiful example of Ametrine, Quartz bicolour formed in nature due to ’ cross between a Amethyst and a Citrine. This specimen cut with octagonal shape, typically used for cutting the emeralds, unveil of shades of color splenidde, and a great purity of colored quartzes of greater value. The weight of 3,15 Carat and size, largo in fact ben 9 mm (almost an inch). The gem comes of course from Bolivia, country from which come all ametrini of my collection and proposed in this blog.
Aventurine from octagonal cutter from Brazil 30,20 Carat

L ’ aventurine belongs to the family of Quartz-chalcedony, it comes in the form of translucent/opaque and gives its name to the phenomenon known as avventurescenza, a wonderful optical effect that makes it even more brilliant gems that will manifest the ’ existence. This gorgeous specimen of Aventurine, I don't think has unfortunately effects of avventurescenza, However it is one beautiful mineral uniform colour and octagonal cutter, typical of emeralds, that enhances the beauty. A gemma simple but very charming, perhaps also because of the legend that wants l ’ Aventurine bring luck to those who possess or who wear.
Ethiopian natural Opal by 0.95 ct Emerald cut

Splendid natural Opal coming from the mines of Yita Ridge in Ethiopia. Gem weighing 0.95 Carat cut with typical of the Emerald cut, a cut that thanks to ’ wide plank allows this gem of exhibit all the wonderful iridescence of its colors. A Rainbow of colors ranging from blue, Red, al Green, Yellow poised to capture the attention of ’ who has the good fortune of being able to admire the beauty.
